Trenton/Mercer Advisory Board 

1.Trenton/Mercer Executive Committee

The Trenton/Mercer Executive Committee main duties are to monitor and evaluate the Trenton/Mercer CoC governance structure, review the CoC governing documents (i.e., Bylaws, Governance Charter, etc.).

2. CoC Full Membership Committee

The Trenton/Mercer Continuum of Care works to ensure that people who experience homelessness or are at imminent risk of homelessness will have access to community and system resources to resolve their immediate housing crisis and facilitate their transition from homelessness to stability in permanent housing as rapidly as possible. The CoC is charged with overseeing the annual application process to HUD. It provides a forum for analysis and discussion of emerging needs, development of program standards, assessment of progress toward ending homelessness and identification and coordination of other sources of funding.

3. Homeless, Outreach, Prevention and Emergency Services Forum (HOPE)

HOPE is a subcommittee of the Mercer County Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC). The Mercer County Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC) enables representatives of local government, volunteer agencies, providers, consumers, consumer advocates, and municipalities to coordinate efforts to improve the quality of human services in Mercer County.

4. Trenton/Mercer Advisory Board

Trenton/Mercer is currently forming an Advisory Board comprised of people who experienced homelessness. The board's aim is to provide a voice of representation and advocacy for the currently or formerly homeless community. The advisory board's objective is to function as a link between the Trenton/Mercer CoC and presently or formerly homeless individuals, to participate in decision-making, and to participate in the evaluation of CoC renewal homeless and supportive services programs fully and actively. This board's meetings will be open to anybody with lived experience who wants to learn more about the CoC and/or homeless services in Mercer County.
