Police Report

Reports can be obtained either in person at the records office at Trenton Police headquarters, 225 N Clinton Avenue, or through the mail. The records office is open from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The person requesting the report will have to show identification and must give the report number or know the date the report was taken.

The fee schedule for reports varies by type of report and whether it is requested at the service window of the Records Office or through the mail. 

Police Investigative Reports

The fee for police investigative reports requested at the service window is:

Motor Vehicle Accident Reports

The fee for motor vehicle accident reports requested at the service window is:

Requests by Mail

There is a flat $5 fee for either investigative reports or motor vehicle accident reports requested by mail. Requests for reports through the mail will be accepted only from the person named in the report, their attorney or insurance company. Individuals who mail requests for reports much include a cashier's check for $5. Checks are acceptable from attorneys and insurance companies. Mail requests to:
