The Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, & Culture oversees, develops and maintains the City’s natural resources, parks, trees and open spaces; coordinates the development and operation of cultural activities, programs and facilities; and develops and operates recreational activities and programs.

Parks & Recreation is welcoming applications for employment to support our 2023 Cool Summer in the Capital City programs and events that will run from Monday, June 26, 2023 through Monday, September 4, 2023. The duration of employment varies between programs.
