Trenton N.J. – The Division of Planning will hold two in-person open house-style community workshop events to discuss ideas for future transit-oriented development projects. The public is encouraged to attend and present ideas to help the Division shape the future of these transit-oriented development projects.
The first event will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in the atrium of Trenton City Hall, located at 319 E State Street, from 6-8 PM. This community event will focus on potential development around Carroll-Ewing-Southward Streets area as well as the Walnut Street Area.
The second event will be held on the following day, Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, at Trenton Social, located at 449 S. Broad Street, also from 6-8 PM. This event will focus on future development opportunities around the Lamberton area.
Mayor Reed Gusciora stated, “We look forward to allowing development to be guided by the community’s voice. Your input is critical to ensuring that transit-oriented development projects in the Capital City are also community-centered.”
The events will be conducted in an open-house style, with no formal presentation. Community members are encouraged to stop by at any time between 6 and 8 PM to learn about these potential plans as well as help shape their further development.
