Trenton N.J. – Mayor W. Reed Gusciora will be on hand to receive a large donation of Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) and meals for seniors from the Turkish American National Steering Committee (TASC) on Friday, May 15th.
The donations will be received by Trenton’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) and the City’s COVID-response team at the Trenton Fire Department Headquarters, located at 244 Perry Street, at 11:30 on Friday. Donated meals from the Turks will be distributed to Trenton seniors.
The effort is spearheaded by Trenton physician Dr. Vedat Obuz, who made a similar contribution to healthcare workers at Helene Fuld Hospital.
