Our Downtown Trenton is important to all of us. It’s where we learn, work, eat, socialize, and engage in cultural and civic activities. Downtown Trenton should be for everyone. The Capital City Redevelopment Corporation (CCRC) is currently updating its Renaissance Plan for Downtown Trenton in accordance with the vision and desires of Trenton’s residents. In partnership with the City, this plan update will be utilize to refine Trenton250’s Downtown District Plan and update the respective redevelopment plans. Taking into account the Creek to Canal Creative District Plan: Trenton Arts in Focus and the drafted Trenton Transit Oriented Development Plan, this plan will provide as a whole the additional planning needed for the remaining parts of Downtown Trenton. As such, CCRC developed a survey to get a sense of community preferences on a wide variety of land use issues, open space, architecture, and more!

CCRC was created pursuant to N.J.S.A 52:9Q-9 et seq. to plan, coordinate, and promote the public and private development within Downtown Trenton defined in the Act, consisting of those portions of the City of Trenton that serve as the commercial center of the community and in which public buildings and historic sites are located.
